Like, whenever you block gab instance or gab-supporting instance, or whatever, you donât ban nazis, you just donât read them anymore. If you feel safer that way â Iâve got bad news for you, they still can read you and users on your instance. You just make yourself less informed about their actions.

Yeah, Iâve seen this argument about not giving them audience. But now you suggest to block your own users from acessing your instance. If no Fedilab user will be able to log in or even sign up to your instance, youâre effectively not giving yourself an audience.

This might be news to you, but majority of Fedilab users chose Fedilab not because of politics, but because of features. I chose Tusky even tho I disagree with idea of rickrolling users, but I just canât use Fedilabâs UI, thatâs all.

Itâs even worse with github, because people in countries under sanctions didnât chose where to be born. And if you truly believe itâs only those peopleâs fault their countries are under sanctions, then the same logic makes you guilty for Trump. Do you consider yourself a Trump supporter?
