All right, look: if I reply slower, it's either because I have gotten slightly sticky fingers from this egg nog, or because I doubled the amount of bourbon you're supposed to use and it came out so great that I can't put the glass down.
I'd give you the recipe, but basically I just used

's recipe, with a few small modifications: add way more bourbon, remove about 3/4 of the sugar (he is a Southerner), and add a little crushed red pepper (I am a Californian) and some salt.
