I see this thought train every single day. In some sectors of society, it's already mainstream thought.

It's depressing because:

1: For a supposedly progressive train of thought, it relies HEAVILY on Judeo-Christian models of purity and attitudes to sex (as an "other force" that must be quarantined.)
2: It literally doesn't even make internally consistent sense. It's like building a house just to knock it down.
3: The people who get caught in peddling this rhetoric often see it as "the only and natural alternative" to images of female subservience to patriarchal, stoic society. (Bonus cognitive disonnance points if they give Islam a pass on this.)
4: Even those with the intelligence and inquiry to look for a healthier way of thought fear challenging the prevailing rhetoric for fear of ideological excommunication.

The result is a confused world that doesn't have the faintest idea what a positive relationship with femininity looks like. And the worst part is that the supposedly progressive elements of society are so indoctrinated with the social gnosticism (desire to transcend and abandon human social needs through asceticism and deconstruction) of Marxist thought that their go-to reaction to anything confusing about humanity is to scream for its abolition: hence gender abolitionism.

Put down the same tired sterile trash you keep getting these horrible ideas from. Please. I'm literally begging you to stop eating garbage. Have this instead. It's a book on positive feminine archetypes written by a Jungian psychoanalyst who also trained in traditional native American storytelling. It was on the New York Times bestseller list for 145 145 weeks. It's better than the "I want Lain-chan to take me into The Wired where gender doesn't exist" garbage you all keep telling each other.
