I'm almost finalized emoji keyboard that I wrote for emoji reactions(that will be also reused in future for something I don't want to spoil yet) and I have a question to my audience.

So my problem is Android's system emoji support. It's very poor on minimal support devices, look on screenshot which is Husky running on Android 5.0.

I have a one solution for this.

I can bundle font that has only emojis and compatible with Unicode 12.0. But the drawback is APK size will be increased by 10 megabytes.

So... should I go with this or take my time for more space efficient solution?
