@fluffy @Moon don't assume that because i wasn't sure if you wanted to hear my argument that i didn't have one. i don't fetishize versions, in fact as time goes on i care less and less about new versions and more and more about software that works. but i do believe in upgrading for improvements. what are those improvements?

sure python2 works but i think the maintenance overhead in supporting it, backporting bugfixes, finding new security flaws, etc etc etc is not worth it. especially when considering how many whole-ass runtimes to embed in your large C codebase.
these are all reasons to upgrade.
if Glimpse is willing to support 2 and 3 good for them but i also would not fault them for dropping 2.
