It has come to my attention that someone, specifically the victim of harrassment in the recent Plus St incident, has publicly stated that I, personally, was involved in this harrassment, which is provably false[0]. Even the actual offenders in this incident have publicly stated that I was not involved[1]. I did not even know this was happening until the founder and lead developer of a reputable open source project contacted me regarding the matter.
While anyone is free to add my domain to a blocklist recommended for public use, or state they don't like me, I will not tolerate being branded as someone who took part, or takes part, in such harrassment and/or other abuse. As someone who deals with high levels of abuse on an almost daily basis across the entire internet and in person, being one of those people is not what I do or will ever do.
After contacting the victim and poster of the blocklist in question, they responded with refusal, stating that I am part of the harassment because I am associated with the offenders[2][3]. While I am associated with them, I believe in second chances, and public apologies have been posted by the offenders[4][5]. I have warned the offenders that if this sort of incident occurs again, I will consider disassociating myself with them at that time.
At this point, I classify the claims against me as libel, and they will be dealt with, accordingly, should they not be removed or changed to fit a more appropriate description of "Associated with harrassment actors", rather than branding me personally as one.
