@matrix This is being taken massively out of context. It isn't about LGBT people specifically, it's about oral and anal sex. Unless you think only gays can get blowjobs or enjoy buttsex, this isn't an LGBT thing.
With vaginal sex, there were certain circumstances where the adult wouldn't need to register as a sex offender, whereas with oral and anal under those same circumstances they would need to. This brings oral and anal in line with vaginal. The real issue imo is that they decided to loosen the punishment for the ones punished more severely, rather get rid of that exemption for vaginal sex and make all child molesters be forced onto the registry.
