Unity project is 600 Mb. C++ with (deprecated) Open GL is 70. Sure.

Now, how much time did that C++ project require, and how much time did that Unity project require?

Also 37 FPS on Unity... I haven't watched this video but I'm sure that's not entirely Unity's fault.

If people uses Unity is not because it's better or worse, but because it's more convenient than having to deal with unmanaged code, having to deal with graphic pipelines, shader languages, debugging complex code that can lead to many memory leaks, etc.

Doing it on Unity achieves similar results with 75% less effort, allowing you to focus on your game rather than your code. And that's the point. Yes, it's "bloat" blah blah, but it works and it really eases the process. From a company perspective (not a hobbyist), or a student who is learning, or someone who doesn't want to deal with very complex code, it's the perfect tool.

Also if you want to deal with C++ in your game, there is also Unreal Engine.
@matrix You have to go through a lot of Cock to get from Twatt to Ass Hill. I don't know if the trip is worth it.

So I kinda ruined my faculty's Discord by making everyone talk about Minecraft
