I'm mildly interested in Blue Archive since the girls are cute, but not enough to start using my "smart"phone regularly again.
Mahjong Soul and Poker Chase remain the only "gacha" games I play regularly, since I can play them on actual computers. (The fact that they're both based on real games is a nice bonus.)

I tried out Drill Dozer on my Everdrive GBA. It's good. Only issue: the Everdrive doesn't support rumble, and the actual cart with built-in rumble is starting to reach "fuck you" prices.

I got an Everdrive GBA and put a rompack on the SD.
Holy fuck, there's a lot of GBA shovelware. I'm gonna need game recommendations.

Cleopatra Fortune (1997, Saturn).
I like falling block puzzlers in general. This is a fun one with a cute girl.
The strategy to getting high scores is to rack up Perfects. This is sometimes unreliable.

Next on my Game Boy adventure is Super Mario Land 2. The first one had a fair difficulty curve, but this game goes from "easy with a few moderately challenging segments" to "FUCK YOU" the moment you reach the final level. I don't have the patience to beat that without savestates.

Hatris.
Of all the early attempts to follow up the immortal masterpiece Tetris, this is probably the best one. Stack five like hats to make them disappear. You need to build the stacks unevenly to be able to separate the falling pair of hats.
The soundtrack changes every stage, preventing any one track from outstaying its welcome. The tracks are pretty good, too.

Managed to go off melatonin without fucking up my circadian rhythm. That's an accomplishment, right?

Just beat Super Mario Land for the first time with a score of 310,900. I suspect it's gonna be a fun game to revisit again and again.

Thousands of Game Boy games at my fingertips and I go back to the original Tetris anyway.
