Revisited Deluxe Snake, an old freeware Snake variant I first played in, like, 2001 or 2002. Had to do some fiddling with Wine to get it to accept keyboard input.
The game gets really hectic when the mushroom generator appears.
Why are "steering controls" default? Does anyone actually play Snake that way? Eh, easy enough to change.

Set a new record in Tetris DX (Game Boy Color) today. About 1.8 million.
Tetris DX is about halfway between Tetris (Game Boy) and modern Guideline Tetris. It's "modern" enough that a good enough player can keep going indefinitely after the speed is maxed out. I'm not quite that good yet.
Saw The Super Mario Bros. Movie. I enjoyed it. It's hard to say much about it, though. Like, yes, that is what the Super Mario games would be like when transposed into the medium of family-friendly adventure cartoon features.
I went to the grocery store to buy a 5-pack of soap bars. Turns out they changed the 5-pack to a 4-pack but kept the price the same.
