Neurotypicals: why are you so okay with wearing a mask?
Autists:

@picandor I can tell what he's feeling by seeing his eyes, though. Usually, the eyes are all you need
@FUCKINGWHOCARESDUDE @picandor we're trained our whole lives to lie with our faces.

it's changes in leg/arm positions/movements and changes in posture that show what makes us uncomfy.
@FUCKINGWHOCARESDUDE @picandor smart kids facing a language barrier (if they move or somefin) and a few of the people with trouble reading faces pick up on this so well it's kind of scary.
IT BE LIKE DUH HOLLACOSS N SHIT DUH WAY WE SPEW ASHES CEPT THIS SHIT RIGHT HURR BE REAL N AWL THAT NIGGA FUH JOOZ WE DUH REAL JOOZ ANYWAY :smh:
@FUCKINGWHOCARESDUDE @picandor no im just talking about reading people. faces give the most information, yes, but also the least reliable/honest information.

if u wanna "read" people you look at the rest of their body.
@FUCKINGWHOCARESDUDE @picandor we try to look calm when we're anxious, but suddenly our tapping legs stop or our still legs start tapping. or they uncross. that's a signal that something's got us tensed up despite the poker-face, or the literal/figurative mask.

i'm going off topic a bit, i get what the meme is saying. i just like sharing things i learned.
@Silicanus @picandor Well, I think you could misinterpret things like that relatively easily. Maybe posture would be a good indicator as well
@picandor
This is bullshit, cause you can easily tell if someone is sad, happy, crying or laughing, just from their eyes.
@picandor what people say is not at all more reliable, its far less so.
