Okay so some good news is that Lenovo are making an ARM ThinkPad.
The bad news is it costs over $1000 dollars, which puts it in the price range of an M1 Mac, which I’m just not sure it can compete with. Especially not since we know M1 Macs can run Linux
@publiclewdness@LinuxLounge Ditto here. I bought a MacBook some years back with the Intel video with the intention that if I grew to dislike it I could at least install Linux on it and keep going. Despite many attempts it never really happened. Somehow in a matter of weeks the bootloader would get eaten. I would never recommend someone buy a Macintosh with the intention of running any system other than OSX on it.
