seems most mobile linux distros don't support going to sleep on the pinephone. I understand that's because it has to stay awake to recieve calls from the modem. but since I'm not using it as a phone, it'd be great if I could sned it to sleep when not in use.
@publiclewdness Not an issue so much as a limitation. It's my understanding that since the CPU in the pinephone is not actually a smartphone CPU, it on the one hand has fewer proprietary binary blobs, but also lacks low power states that lets it still talk to the modem while otherwise asleep. So in order for calls to work, the system has to stay running.
