One more reason to use the Libre kernel. No closed source patches like this from the kernel.
Just speaking for me i'd gladly go to AMD but my choices are a Coreboot board to limit the BS from Intel ME or an AMD board with the PSP running full swing. If we could get more mainstream AMD boards running Coreboot i'd be happy.
The real issue is a hardware problem, and they tried to paper over it with an under-voltage patch.
