God damn, do Redditors get angry when they’re not allowed to gatekeep art.
I’ve had a “no gatekeeping” rule since 2017. And these folks are complaining about the rules now – even though I’ve enforced the rules since 2017.
Why are these people so invested in gatekeeping? Why is it so important to them?

Reddit is trash and has been for a while. I moved to lemmy years ago and don't see myself returning to Reddit.
@publiclewdness Unfortunately, I’m saddled with moderating a community with 33K accounts because if I don’t, it will turn into a dumpster fire. And I feel responsible for creating that subreddit.
