GhostBSD has released version 24.01.1. It's an OS out of Canada that is based on FreeBSD but put's it's own spin on things such as having the Mate desktop preinstalled and having a GUI installer among other things. This release adds support for the future installer and simplified desktop configuration; adds new wallpapers; fixes bugs and security issues; and more. The code is licensed using the BSD-3-Clause license. If you're looking to leave Windows or Mac OS for a more privacy and security friendly operating system then I can easily recommend GhostBSD.

The correct response if someone says you're mansplaining is "you're welcome".

I've seen Commando. Gotta be a secret switch to open up the special room.

That would be the best use of my taxes that Castreau could ever give me.

Congrats ! Would using your Open Collective be an acceptable way to donate ?

We are bowled over by your support! We're up to 162 Individual Members, 114 of which are new, and we've doubled the number of organizational members 🥳

This is encouraging, though we still have a long way to go to fill the gap in our budget.

I prefer roman numerals myself but that being said I like the clean look to it otherwise.

I'd argue it's even worse than 11 in many places. Better to be judged by twelve than carried by six.
