#phosh now shows the configured desktop background in the overview:
Note that some of the background files shipped for desktops as jxl can be slow to resize on slower hardware as they are meant for desktop screen size.
It is recommended to use a proper size on e.g. the PinePhone as it can otherwise consume significant CPU resources after login.

- Plugins now use AdwPreferencesDialog to make them more mobile friendly

I have no sympathy for those that use Windows.
In time for the new year, I released the 1.0 version of geoclue-stumbler! https://gitlab.com/kop316/geoclue-stumbler/-/tags/1.0
This release includes a seperate program that proxies geoclue submissions, giving you the control over when you upload the submissions and allows you to stumble even in places you have no network access. Packagers, please read the README on how to install the proxy for seamless integration.
It's funny how two different documentaries on the same subject can differ so much. I watched the documentaries about Woodstock 99 on Netflix and Crave today. The one on Netflix highlighted the various failures of the promoters along the way, included interviews with people at various levels including footage of the promoter meetings while the one on Crave spent the majority of the time bashing white men. I lost count the time misogyny, white privilege, and white men in general were mentioned. If you removed even 20-30 minutes from the one on Crave you wouldn't even know it was about Woodstock 99.
Not a clue. I know they were forked from Droidian but form what I gather that connection is becoming less and less the further along FuriOS gets. Aside from Droidian I don't know what else they would upstream to.
I would say PostmarketOS falls in the middle. If you are familiar with their pmbootstrap then getting FDE isn't too hard to implement. If you are someone who just downloads the preconfigured images from PostmarketOS's website then none of those have FDE and you'll miss out.

I have been gaming since 1992 and building PCs since 2003. I enjoy Linux, supporting FOSS projects and am a tinfoil hat connoisseur.
Many FOSS projects rely on donations. If you have money to spare but don't know which to donate to take a look at the above links on Ko-fi, Github, and Open Collective. Anything on there that I have sponsered or contributed to is something I have found to be worthy.
