People voting with their dollars is what needs to happen so many cases. They often have options available that would work but they really just want to buy an Apple or something like it and hope and pray that the company stops being scummy which will never happen.

So glad that I haven't spent anything on new Apple hardware or services for at least a decade.
Vote with your dollars. Defund incompetence and DEI. Inclusiveness for its own sake is a recipe for ruin.
If you do want DEI and what it stands for, by all means go out and buy another non-upgradable and un-repairable MacBook.
