as some might recall, we were working on a feature to allow multi booting different systems easily and without any hassle ( partitioning etc).

around that time we started to get in contact with known porters of different systems such as #UbuntuTouch and #sailfishos

after much effort and work, i can confidently say that the #flx1 will be added to the #UBports installer and OTA server soon allowing allow bare metal and multi boot installs!

I had a chance to try NYM VPN. It has some ups and downs.

I like that it has a lot of options for install such as Flatpak, App Image, .deb files, source code, and a basic Linux executable. It's also on F-Droid for mobile. The UI is good & I like that you can generate an account # without providing any info. It also has a multi hop feature and a good selection of countries. It is also based in Switzerland which is a good thing.

I wish the Flatpak would install both the Daemon and client. The App Image doesn't work for me so far. It also didn't work out of the box on SystemD or OpenRC but that didn't shock me and can probably be worked around. It leaks DNS server info like many other VPN's at default. The price is a bit steep at 10 CHF a month which was about $18 CAD for me. Proton and Mullvad are cheaper and work with less hiccups so far.

Overall I'd go with Mullvad first but would say that Proton and NYM are both good options in their own right.

I can't take anything seriously that lists Russell Brand as conservative. He is a hippy who happens to be against censorship and is in favor of freedom of choice. The fact that he is labeled as anything right of center shows how messed up the world is.

In a world where technology can mean the difference between life and death, can we afford the restrictions proprietary software places on progress? Watch and share "Rewind" (Spoiler alert: the answer is "no".) u.fsf.org/rewind #FreeSoftware

Shipping with a distro is the last thing I needed to move that tablet to a must have. I'll pull the tigger once I have the money now.
