Flower Picking
Yesterday I went on a garden tour which included cut your own flowers. It's not something I typically do, but thought my kiddo would enjoy it. Well, I was right and we both got tons of flowers, though I might be most excited for the seeds the garden designer gave to me. That purple/pink queen Anne's lace, I got a cutting of a stem with a bunch of mature seeds on it, just need to dry them out.

I'm not much of a flower gardener (in my opinion of myself). I'm definitely more of a vegetable and fruit gardener, but I do enjoy incorporating flowers in the garden. I think I'll try to make more of an effort to cut flowers from my own garden and bring them in, I mean they is something undeniably enjoyable about it. Not sure exactly what, but it resonates with a lot of people for a reason.

Overall, was a great experience, plus, I've got a new contact to trade seeds with. Gotta love that good ol' garden magic.
