So, last week a kid asked me to set up his new (old) computer, and it made me think about how different the childhoods of modern day kids are to mine, and what that could mean later on.

Good boy.
Agreed. Wish my country would adopt this.
Ente's latest release comes with a new video player with better controls and support for High Dynamic Range (HDR)!
HDR is a #technology that reproduces what the naked eye sees in colors and in contrast. It makes the bright areas brighter, dark areas darker, and colors more vibrant 🌈
So have fun viewing your pixels in perfection! ✨
The first thought that I had was that if you delay commenting until the weekend the comments could help garner a second wave of interest after the initial release.
I am for ending pretty much all taxes but if property taxes is where we start i'd be fine with that.

I had started dipping my toes in Linux using live cds for data backup at work. Then I moved a spare system to Linux. After tinkering with that for a bit I was able to switch my main system to Linux and never look back. Thatw as in 2015.
I think the biggest thing people should do is start switching to FOSS options for their programs that way switching to Linux will make them have to get used to less new programs. If you're deep in the Windows or Apple only apps then you're in for a bigger shock when you find few of them are available on Linux.
I find i'm more of a realist but that means often being racist.
Little bit different. Fudd made me laugh. Walz just inspires contempt and anger.
I have been gaming since 1992 and building PCs since 2003. I enjoy Linux, supporting FOSS projects and am a tinfoil hat connoisseur.
Many FOSS projects rely on donations. If you have money to spare but don't know which to donate to take a look at the above links on Ko-fi, Github, and Open Collective. Anything on there that I have sponsered or contributed to is something I have found to be worthy.
