notes at https://phosh.mobi/releases/rel-0.47.0/ for details or see 👇 for a short 🧵

#phosh's Feedback Quick Setting now has a status page featuring a "Do not disturb" toggle (that sets the profile to "silent" and disables notification banners) and a button for quick access to the Feedback settings (to e.g. tweak Feedback for individual apps or tune ring tones).
1/x
On the bugfix side the OSD (which is e.g. shown when pressing the volume buttons) no longer grabs input from the whole screen, the app matching code got improved to honor the desktop files's StartupWMClass so e.g. X11 have a better chance of showing an icon in the overview and the Wi-Fi status page now shows the correct network again when it has several access points.
2/x
#Phosh's #MobileSettings app now allows to select and disable the overview wallpaper so there's no need reach for the command line when you want the classic black back.
The apps feedback panel allows to adjust role based volumes in case #PipeWire's role base routing is in effect. This is picked up automatically when you enable role based routing.
3/x
#phosh-osk-stub now adds Emojis to the auto completions and can show a popover for the currently typed character:
EDIT: The OSK also makes better use of available space to avoid ellipsizing auto completions

DragonFly BSD has released version 6.4.2 recently. This update fixes a kernel panic bug, fixes VirtIO block device cylinder count reporting, fixes several FDISK issues, and more. DragonFLYBSD is based on FreeBSD. The code is licensed using the BSD license. DragonFlyBSD is focussed on scalability, performance, and modern multi-core/threading support. It uses the RC init system and the HAMMER file system.

I've updated the Pine64 Wiki with the up-to-date overlay and documentation locations. https://wiki.pine64.org/wiki/PinePhone_Pro_Software_Releases#Gentoo.
I would stongly recommend using the binaryhost since it recudes the compile time on the PinePhonePro. The binaryhost is PinePhonePro Only since lets be real using a normal PinePhone with Gentoo is not really realistic. The Binaryhost is updating to Python 3.13.
Also, I've added a corresponding section to https://linuxphoneapps.org/docs/resources/building-flatpaks-from-manifests/#configuring-locales-languages
The PinePhone Pro tangent in the "Sidenote: What about the Librem 5?" section in https://linmob.net/gtk-418-the-pinephone-and-megapixels/#sidenote-what-about-the-librem-5 had to be corrected after playing with Megapixels 2.0 alpha 1 on the #PinePhonePro

I have been gaming since 1992 and building PCs since 2003. I enjoy Linux, supporting FOSS projects and am a tinfoil hat connoisseur.
Many FOSS projects rely on donations. If you have money to spare but don't know which to donate to take a look at the above links on Ko-fi, Github, and Open Collective. Anything on there that I have sponsered or contributed to is something I have found to be worthy.
