Our DNA is far too sensitive to leave its access to the whims of law enforcement and prosecutors. If police have access to that data, they will find a way to search it. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2022/02/not-just-san-francisco-police-across-country-are-retaining-and-searching-dna
Truly we live in the worst timeline: a printer company has figured out how to put DRM in its *paper*:

I just talked to someone who went to the protest at NZ Parliament.
He said that every bit of lawn in the area is now a camp ground.
He thought there might be 2000 people camping there.
The council has allowed free parking for protesters in the stadium near by, to unblock the streets.
The tow truckers and the army don't want to move the protesters vehicles.
The protest is giving free meals to anyone, Asian food, Indian food, vegan and halal options too.
They're not leaving any time soon.

It's sad how well this mashup of V for Vendetta and Trudeau worked.
T series thinkpads are my fav. These are T400 mainboards. My assistant disassembled seven of these, for me to solder and re-assemble.
I'm doing: 16MB SPI flash upgrades and quad-core mods, with Core 2 Quad Q9000 and osboot installations.
I've been ruthlessly efficient all week.
By the way, did you know I have a Patreon account? If you like my work (on libreboot and osboot), consider supporting me. My page on Patreon is here:
I've added the link to this on both http://osboot.org and http://libreboot.org
ICYMI 👉 Over the past 18 months, we've been on a roller-coaster ride developing #futex2, a new set of kernel system calls. As part of this effort, the futex_waitv() syscall has now landed in #Linux 5.16. But what exactly is #futex? Let's dive in! https://col.la/futex #coding

falkTX has just made the initial release of Cardinal!
The Cardinal plug-in is - to put it shortly - VCV Rack in a bottle. You have a static (and huge) collection of Rack modules to use, specials for communicating with the DAW, ability to receive MIDI CCs and have them act as CV sources inside etc...
https://kx.studio/News/?action=view&url=cardinal-2202-is-now-released
This is what I needed to be able to really use Rack in my projects - while being able to keep them contained in a DAW project.
Thank you, @falktx !
If the Linux distribution you're currently using has major issue and needs extra resources to fix it, would you rather...

My son wants to learn C++ for game programming - can anyone recommend a video series? He knows Python and Godot and has some experience with JavaScript and Java. Boosts welcome. #gamedev
I have been gaming since 1992 and building PCs since 2003. I enjoy Linux, supporting FOSS projects and am a tinfoil hat connoisseur.
