Personally there are several things keeping me on X11 but I love having options so i'm happy to see them getting things started. One of the things keeping me off Wayland is not liking any of the DE's that have a Wayland version and Cinnamon is one DE that I do like so this would check off one box.

If I understand it correctly, it seems to be aligned with the RetroEdgeTech ideals. It desires to get back to simpler, understandable HTML-like ways of doing things, but extending HTML. Another aim is to make the website front end much lighter with less #Javascript and put more of the burden on the server.

It is understood to be an "anti - #React" or even anti-javascript in concept, while being a framework or library written in javascript.

This resonates with me, especially because of seeing how much CPU resources are expected from the client with web applications like Nextcloud.
