I've got some problems with the latest Proton VPN update which is version 4.1 and the previous version 4.0. The Linux versions used to have a one click option for the Secure Core feature and now you have to search servers which have it manually. They have also somehow made the program look uglier instead of the clean looking program they had. I've attached pictures of the older program running on my desktop vs the newer version I am running on my laptop. Whoever decided these are good ideas has some explaining to do.

Leah Rowe has seperated Libreboot into two seperate projects. There now exists the Canoeboot BIOS will focus being blob free where Libreboot will allow some blobs. In some regards this looks like a continuation of the digital feud between Leah Rowe and the FSF over their GNU Boot but to be quite honest if this ends up benefiting users by giving us more hardware freedom then I count it as a win even if it stems from a petty feud. In any case if you're looking for a BIOS that is more geared towards privacy; security and software freedom then Canoeboot is an option for you.
