Here is another FREE short ghost story I self-published in 2013. It is available at Smashwords, Barnes & Noble (link will be in comments), Apple Books. It is on Amazon too, but I cannot make it free.

Here is the description:
A ferocious storm in late November 1953 on Lake Michigan tossed and contorted the steamer Charles F. Campton to its limits. The captain and first mate struggled to keep the crew safe in the turbulent waters. They were not alone. Ghosts from the freighter's troubled past emerged, which made the crew’s task in the perilous situation more grave.

Video of Neighborhood Pond at Sunset
From a walk around this southeast Michigan pond this Wednesday evening, December 20th, 2023. It was above freezing for the walk, but there was still some ice on the pond. There was a front coming through with the line of darker clouds.
