Antique 16 Bore Pinfire Double Barreled Shotgun (Belgian)
This here is a stunning example of Double Barreled (Side by side) shotgun in the Lefaucheux Pinfire patent!

Dated around 1860 and manufactured in Belgium, this fabulous shotgun is in an absolutely fine condition! All parts and mechanisms are in perfect working order and functionality.

Both the metal and wood are in a superb state, especially when considering the guns age. Though there are the occasional signs of age with some minor scuffs and cracks to be seen in the wood.

Some quite lovely floral pattern engraving can be seen a across the metal of the gun on the trigger guard, locks, hammers, scrolling trigger guard, rotary underlever and top plate.

The stock features a lovely shaped chequered design which compliments the engraving well.

It features 28 inch Damascus barrels which are also in a fine condition, still retaining much of their original quality.

Overall this shotgun has clearly been well looked after through the years and I do hope it can find a most distinguished & deserved place on display or as part of a collection!

FOSS map editing tool "Tiled Map Editor" has been updated to version 1.11. This update improves export plugins, fixes multiple bugs, makes various improvements to menus and shortcuts, and more. Tiled Map Editor is a FOSS tool for editing maps for games ranging from RPGs to puzzle games. Some games that use it are Carrion, Shovel Knight, Alwa's Legacy and more. Different parts of the code are licensed differently. This includes Apache 2.0, GPLv2.0, and a couple others.

This week's donation went to the Devuan project. It's a Linux distro based off Debian which not only doesn't use SystemD but during install gives the user a choice between SysVinit, Runnit, and OpenRC. If you use the netinstaller option you also get a choice of desktop environments during install including XFCE, Cinnamon, Gnome, KDE, LXDE, LXQT and Mate. It can also easily be used with the libre kernel if one wanted to if you follow the instructions at FSFLA. It uses the Ext file system by default. The latest release is called Daedalus which is based off Debian 12 but you can install Excalibur which is based off Debian testing if one needed newer packages. Overall it is a great option if one wants a distro giving them more freedom of choice during install.
