Top down adventure game "Afterplace" was released onto PC recently. It had been available on mobile platforms before that. It has a native Linux version and is available DRM free on Itch.

MidnightBSD has released version 3.2. This update fixes bugs and security issues, updates various software, adds Ravenports as a packaging system, and more. Midnight BSD is based off FreeBSD but ships with XFCE out of the box so you don't have to install a DE right after install. The code is licensed using the BSD 2-clause license. if you're looking for a more privacy and security friendly OS than Windows or Mac you should check it out.
