We also now received OOB access, which should make it easier to restart the server if necessary without having to wait for someone on-site.
The FSF tech team operates sixty-three different services, platforms, and websites. They maintain all the computers and software FSF uses, including obscure things like accounting software, Asterisk telephony software, many websites such as fsf.org, gnu.org, and more. This small team also provides critical services to the GNU System, like email, build servers, release hosting, bug tracking, Git hosting, and servers to various free software projects. The server has been rebooted and the builders are active again.
To prevent a similar issue from happening again right away, we will enable the builders in a staggered way to prevent to many large builds happening at the same time.
Thunderbird experiments
After I had borked my last #postmarketOS install, I did not want to bother with setting up email accounts, and just copied my #Thunderbird profile over - how hard can it be?
I managed to come up with something I can live with, unfortunately it required customizing the icon bar by hand, so these changes are likely not directly transferable via user.js and co.
I have been gaming since 1992 and building PCs since 2003. I enjoy Linux, supporting FOSS projects and am a tinfoil hat connoisseur.
