I am always on the look out for new libre options for hardware so I am happy to share the work of the Libre Silicon group. They are working on developing an open source semiconductor manufacturing process standard. https://libresilicon.com/index_en.html
Libre X230 on https://minifree.org/ reduced in price. The usual price is £298; new price is £278. This discount lasts until March 1st. On March 1st, the price goes back to £298.
The machines come with coreboot and Debian. 100% free drivers and applications. Free as in freedom!
If you haven't started planning your exit from x86 and you value open source then you really should start. It looks as if future Intel CPUs will be even less friendly to open source firmware then they already are. If you think AMD will be your savior then think again as they don't even support Core Boot currently; use the PSP and have closed source firmware on their GPUs. https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=Intel-USF-FSP-3.0-Less-OSF
The Federal Reserve is currently stuck. This game of funky fake money is coming to an end and the one left standing will not have a chair to sit on when the music stops. If the Federal Reserve raises rates, valuations will get crushed as discount rates are adjusted higher. In addition, the Fed would be raising rates on the U.S. Government’s massive debt obligations ($30 trillion and counting) which would add an insane amount of stress to the global financial system. 500 basis points of higher rates will obliterate our ability to even consider servicing this massive amount of debt.
What this war is really about (and many previous ones). Fiat causes wars. Remember that the dollar being world reserve currencies benefits Washington and Wall Street and harms the working class. Please opt out of fiat NOW, follow @4SoundMoney.

The key is to properly define utopia.
My book discusses why trying to get agreement on defining utopia is a fallacy.
