Leah Rowe has published a new version of the Libreboot BIOS to version 20231021. This new update adds support for four new devices; updated the version of Grub to 2.12; updated the revision of U-Boot; completed two audits on the code; and more. The code is licensed using GPLv3. Libreboot can support the use of closed source blobs on some machines where on others it can operate blob free so be careful on which machine you use it on if you wish to use the blob free version.

Randy Hiller is an elected member of the Ont. legislature. Trudeau’s police are jailing him for supporting the truckers. Canada is no longer a free country. We’re only partly free. Hillier is a political prisoner. But because he opposed lockdowns, the media will cheer his arrest Hillier was recently deplatformed from Twitter. I’ve seen it before: politically marginalized people are silenced; and when when they lack the ability to make their case they’re arrested and prosecuted. Did the police contact Twitter, like they did with the trucker GoFundMe? The CBC will cheer this; so will the Toronto Star and the Globe. Partisan Liberals, who hated Hillier’s conservative policies and his folksy style, will cheer it too. But will any elected Conservatives defend him? I doubt it. They’ve been silent on arrested truckers & pastors.

I did some further organizing, and now have 2 anti-static work benches. Disassemble machines on one desk, put the boards in anti-static bags.

Transfer, in anti-static bags, to main desk for soldering. Transfer back to disassembly/reassembly desk, for reassembly.

Very efficient.
