Emulator "Box64" has been updated to version 0.2.6. This update adds support for more CPU extensions; more hardware support; support for emulating more system calls, better handling of signal; and more. Box64 is an emulator that allows you to run x_86 programs on ARM and now RISC-V systems. The code is licensed using MIT. You can compile Box64 from source on Github; can install from the AUR; and you may find it available in certain distro repos.

I am now supporting @postmarketOS with 2,50€ each month. It's not much, but every little bit helps. I do believe what they do is groundbreaking work and immensely important to the future of open source software, and reducung electronic waste in the infamous mobile sector. I also just like it.

We're making steady progress toward our fundraising goal. We're about $25k from achieving half of our goal to raise $375k by December 31. We need your help to expand our reach, run our campaigns, and provide free software infrastructure for a variety of projects. We thank everyone who has participated in the fundraiser so far. This week's donation went to PostmarketOS. It's a great distro for the Pinephone among other devices. It is based off of Alpine Linux and uses OpenRC instead of Systemd. It also is one of the few mobile distros that offer an actual installer for the Pinephone as well as support for full disk encryption.
