My wife and I created a fun variant of Mexican Train dominoes for 2 players:
Mexican train for 2 players - faster and funner version
• Use double nine dominoes • Draw highest domino to decide who starts game • Draw one if you can’t play and immediately play the drawn domino if you can • Players can play on any train • A maximum of 3 trains can be started from the starting double • Each player draw 8 dominoes • The person who starts a round plays any double in their hand as the starting double. If they don’t have a double, they must draw • The second player plays a starting double if it hasn’t been played yet. Otherwise they play a matching domino or draw • When a player plays another double, that double must be immediately closed by that player with a matching domino. If that player cannot close that double, they must draw • An unclosed double on the table must be closed by either player before any other domino can be played on the table, or before any player can go out • Scoring is optional but can be scored by either hands win or by counting the remaining domino spots held by the losing player at the end of each hand • The primary strategy is to balance the goals of maximizing your odds of playing while minimizing the odds of your opponent playing

I have been gaming since 1992 and building PCs since 2003. I enjoy Linux, supporting FOSS projects and am a tinfoil hat connoisseur.
Many FOSS projects rely on donations. If you have money to spare but don't know which to donate to take a look at the above links on Ko-fi, Github, and Open Collective. Anything on there that I have sponsered or contributed to is something I have found to be worthy.
