We've released one more security patch earlier today, for the versions 4.1, 4.2, and nightly.

If you are using nightly, you can upgrade to the 4.3.0-nightly.2024-02-17-security tag to get the patches.

Please upgrade as soon as possible!

Our project leader @mattdm took the Fedora Slimbook 14" to our booth at FOSDEM this year. It was a great time and the laptop got lots of positive feedback! Thanks again to @slimbook for the unit. :)

Here's a look at the Fedora Slimbook 14": youtube.com/watch?v=NkdFidx3Vg

(Sorry for audio, FOSDEM was too lively ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

We are currently going down for some minutes to deploy security updates on the fronting host systems.

The Canadian *Bill C-26* gains momentum although civil rights groups warn that the Bill "risks undermining our privacy rights, and the principles of accountable governance and judicial due process which are the fabric of Canadian democracy." u.fsf.org/430 u.fsf.org/431

Even if the CP crisis was a "conspiracy theory," why oppose stricter penalties for people who commit abuse against children?
GhostBSD has released version 24.01.1. It's an OS out of Canada that is based on FreeBSD but put's it's own spin on things such as having the Mate desktop preinstalled and having a GUI installer among other things. This release adds support for the future installer and simplified desktop configuration; adds new wallpapers; fixes bugs and security issues; and more. The code is licensed using the BSD-3-Clause license. If you're looking to leave Windows or Mac OS for a more privacy and security friendly operating system then I can easily recommend GhostBSD.
