I just replaced a keyboard in a ThinkPad T450 laptop. Some of the keys were not working. When I took the keyboard out to re-seat the connection and test it, I noticed there was some sticky residue likely from a liquid spill.

Replacing the keyboard with another used keyboard fixed the problem of some of the keys not working, so I isolated the problem to the keyboard part and not the ribbon cable connection or other cause.

Hate the CDC when in 2024 they've changed the science yet another time = Progressive champion, savior of the vaccinated.
It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.
