I found another really interesting presentation from the Black Hat conference in 2021 by Robert Buhren and Alexander Eichner. In it they were able to figure out a lot about just how the AMD Platform Security Processor works. If you didn't know it is similar to the Intel ME in that it is a black box that operates within your CPU (The ME is on the boards instead) and has more access and privilege than it should. It even has full access to the contents of your RAM. It is present on all AMD CPUs since the first Ryzen as well as the Trinity APUs and is also present on all AMD GPUs since the Vegas series.

I found a really interesting and well done presentation from the Black Hat conference in 2017 by Christopher Domas. It's about how he was able to figure out how to show that there are undocumented instructions present on various processors. He had to make the tool and in the process found various bugs present in decompilers. One interesting note was how the same undocumented instructions were present in different brands of processors which may suggest that the manufatcurers are being told to include it by a third party like a government although there are other possibilities as well. Domas did a great job in taking complex info and breaking it down in a way that you don't need to be a coder to undertsand it. Sadly I doubt he'll be continuing his research as Intel's reaction after this was to hire him.

Nationwide, SWAT teams routinely invade homes, break down doors, kill family pets (they always shoot the dogs first), damage furnishings, terrorize families, and wound or kill those unlucky enough to be present during a raid. So who pays for the consequences of this mayhem? We do.
