Do you have some hardware collecting dust in a drawer?

Do you have fun figuring out how things break, and/or helping others break stuff?

This week's donation went to Linux Mint. They have three editions based off Ubuntu which offer chocies between Cinnamon, Mate and XFCE for desktop environment. There is also a Debian based version that uses Cinnamon. It uses SystemD for the init and Ext4 for the filsesystem. Linux Mint is a very user friendly distro and a great starting point if you are looking to switch from Windows or Mac to something more privacy and security focussed. It can also easily be used with the libre kernel if one wanted to if you follow the instructions at FSFLA.
