@Coomer That's kinda how mine was, although it wasn't a ton of outright rejection, more like endless criticism, and not just constructive criticism but like even name-calling sometimes, and not in a playful or positive way at all, strangely juxtaposed with her telling everyone how great a person I was at the same time.
I used to fake it till I make with stuff, even confidence, but fr tho I'm tryin' to be real. No more faking. Faking is bad for me, and it keeps people from helping me.
Most importantly, my change in mindset is probably why I'm in such a better place rn tbh
