Is there an account posting cool moments from #CartoonNetwork? Or is the #Fediverse as a whole too weeb and keeb friendly to care about such American trash?
@jasonl8446 I was never allowed to watch the linear channel, but I watch some of their shows on #Hulu and will be buying them instead of signing up for #HBOMax just to watch 'em
@jasonl8446 #iTunes just had a sale for the entire series of #24onFOX in HD for $30 so I can watch that without ads now, even though it's on #Hulu
@jasonl8446 I'd never pay for #Hulu outright. When the bundle runs out, I'm cancelling it.
I don't own any #Apple products either; I'm buying the content and removing the DRM so I can put it on my #PLEX server along with all the ripping Blu Rays and DVDs I have/will buy.
For me #Hulu is cost-effective, but I think owning all the shows I watch will be more cost-effective than that.
I already have things on my #PLEX I'm looking forward to watching more than what I have on #Hulu
I do not like Hulu in general, its kind of hard to rationalize giving them money with their model when you compare it to other streaming platforms IMO.
In terms of streaming platforms I hate the most would be funimation. Not only did the fragment the anime scene significantly, but they push their political agenda into anime. So in otherwords: never give money to funimation, always pirate it because you not only get a better experience (subs are actually properly translated), you are not giving money to shitty business practices.
Not really sure if crunchyroll/Netflix is worth the money because they do some exclusives, but at least they did not fragment the industry as much. (I only have a crunchyroll)
