Coronavirus Hot Take #2

There are only three real intelligent takeaways from the panic:

1. The scientific community as a whole can't really be trusted.

2. Derangement Syndrome kills people. (Note that the Democrats want people to starve and die rather than expose themselves to a relatively harmless virus just so they can make suffer.)

3. Reliance on foreign powers is a really bad idea, as they can either force us to let them deceive us (as has done) or, if they go under, we will go under too.

#Trump Derangement Syndrome kills people. (Note that the Democrats want people to starve and die rather than expose themselves to a relatively harmless virus just so they can make #Trump suffer.)

It’s not a “relatively harmless virus”, just look at the rise in all-causes morality.

Completely agree on 3, though.

@gladicouldnthelp Not 100% sure I understand this graph, is it saying that in each of these regions, the causes between 2,000 to 18,000 extra deaths?

Yes or no, hopefully we agree that relative to starvation, the mortality of the is far lower.

re: Coronavirus Hot Take #2

@realcaseyrollins It measures death from all causes, which sides-steps the problems of counting coronavirus cases, because is so widespread that a large fraction of those deaths are going to be from the virus (especially compared to previous years without the virus).

re: Coronavirus Hot Take #2

@gladicouldnthelp You do agree that the mortality rate of starvation is higher than that of the though, right?
