@shampoobottle This is hard; I'm doing it by moral standards, not nationalist or physical standards.
@shampoobottle Lincoln didn't drive America into a war that ended up destroying the entire nation and sending it into generations of relative weakness and poverty.
@realcaseyrollins Yeah but Hitler was based and red pilled.
@1iceloops123 @shampoobottle Both are wrong
@1iceloops123 @shampoobottle ahhhhh okay that makes sense!
I'm just an idiot lol
@shampoobottle @realcaseyrollins Eh, slavery wouldn't have disappeared naturally for at least 50 years. More industrialization was needed.
@dave 50 years may have been worth not destroying and conquering the entire region and permanently crippling State's Authority. @realcaseyrollins
@shampoobottle @realcaseyrollins But it's not like they knew what technology was coming and how that would effect the economics of slavery. If they somehow did, then you can make the same argument that the confederacy should have just yielded and agreed to transition away from slavery.
@realcaseyrollins Just remember, Adolf Hitler didn't literally destroy half his country himself just to virtue signal a business model that was already on its way out.
