@tk @moonman I wonder how this would work. 's method relies on AI, I think. Right?

You'd need to run "word association" of all toots to each topic, but at the same time, make it completely reliable on AI so that it's self-sustaining and can support new topics being discussed.

@realcaseyrollins However they decide their suggestions, they seem to find the least desired topics. Like celebrities. I don't even know who they are most of the time. @tk @moonman
@lnxw37a2 @realcaseyrollins @tk whenever I search for keepass on google the first thing it autosuggests is keeping up with the kardashians

@moonman @tk @lnxw37a2 I for one don't mind pop culture. But I do realize there are few normies roaming around these parts.

It's not like the same topics would trend here, it's just that there would be similar mechanisms.

@realcaseyrollins @moonman @tk It's not "eww normie stuff". If their data analysis of my tweet and follow history performs this poorly for me, I imagine it to perform poorly for everyone.

Well as you say earlier, it's being manipulated to drive users to certain content. Hopefully something done on the wouldn't be so biased. If people don't think 's current "trending" feature has issues, there's no need to think a similar topics feature would have additional issues.
