Watching more #BetterThingsFX tonight boiiiis
Better Things S01E10 Spoilers
I still am wondering if Frankie is LGBT tho. I'm sure that will be shown in time, but the narrative isn't clear.
Better Things S02E02 Spoilers
I love how the second half of the episode shows a softer, gentler, positive side of parenting that #BreedersFX was afraid to cover.
Better Things S02E02 & S02E03 General Spoilers
The narrative tone and style of these two episodes is quite unique. I like it.
Better Things S02E03 General Spoilers
"Forward, your life needs to go forward, Max."
Better Things S02E03 General Spoilers
Dang where was this episode all my life, lol...this was a wonderful example of how to ask a girl out without being creepy or fake.
Better Things S02E03 General Spoilers
Yeah, Sam is still a terrible mother. Kinda hate how she treats her children sometimes. It'd be one thing if there was a father, but it does seem to me that the children are being neglected.
These children truly need some legitimate, extended attention and affection.
Better Things S02E03 General Spoilers
Also, her date for the trip is a way better person than she is, or at least he seems to be.
I'm sure more will be revealed later on.
Better Things S02E03 General Spoilers
Dangit Robin, you had to have control issues.
Passive aggressive too. Lose that man, sis.
Better Things S02E03 General Spoilers
I also love how Sam talked to herself exactly how I do 😂
Better Things S02E03 General Spoilers
Bro what is wrong with this guy?? He's so tense! This guy has issues and is not ready to be in a relationship with a real person.
Better Things S02E03 General Spoilers
Sam, end the date NOW. I know you're hungry, I don't care.
Sam, you're good at not giving a rip. Do it now when you should.
Better Things S02E03 General Spoilers
Hmm. It's nice to see that he was upset because he felt bad about how he treated Sam, and not angry because the date didn't follow his plan.
Better Things S02E03 General Spoilers
One last thing, I'm no fan of lewd content, but I love the fact that this show has bathroom scenes, just because it's so realistic, but all the other shows are scared to have them for reasons other than plot points or one-liners.
Better Things S02E02 Spoilers
This is a pretty complex plot right here. Sam is pretty hypocritical and completely inconsiderate, but that's nothing new for her. She complains about her boyfriend expecting a lot from her, but she expects a lot from him. He asks her basic questions, and she rages at her.
I wonder if she's only getting away with this because she's a woman.
But if she is, it's not in a preachy, SJW way, but a realistic way. When she raged at him, she says that men are supposed to be tough, but women are at the same time supposed to be delicate with their feelings, because in reality, they're no tougher emotionally than women. This is 100% true, but it's not an indictment on men, it's an indictment on society.
It's pretty clear that by dragging the relationship out, as Sam felt obligated to do, she hurt him more than if she broke up with him on the first night. People don't really understand that drawing stuff out like that inflicts pain until they get themselves into that situation. They end up breaking up with a ten minute long shouting match in a parking lot instead of briefly and calmly once the date is over.
