@freemo @OrganicNectar96@mstdn.social To be fair protesters who are violating the law by disobeying curfew are asking to get pushed out. And if enough people in a crowd assault law enforcement, they will start dispersing the crowd and going after protesters and rioters alike.
Rioters ruin the protests for everyone.

there are full on riots. A police response is not only expected, its the correct thing to do.
With that said it will likely escalate things further so .. i dunno we will see. Thats how civil war looks (assuming it keeps going)... you expect the other side to defend themselves.
