why do phones nowadays have a dozen cameras

Apparently they can't make the existing cameras better so the logical step is to add a new camera
Even tho what would be better is to just find a way to combine all those modes and features into a single lens
@realcaseyrollins @tuxcrafting well that, and working with fewer lenses per sensor is much easier to deal with, else your camera bumps are gonna get gigantic.
