My preference is Glitch-Soc run on a #Pleroma backend.

#Soapbox is nice but the timelines don't auto-update

@realcaseyrollins Mastodon is terrible and no one should ever use it. Glitch is better, Blobcatstdon is even better than that. But all the forking and fixing and tweaking is ultimately just polishing a turd. The front end isn’t terrible though, no. But that’s available on pleroma anyway as you pointed out.

@shebang @mewmew Are there any instances currently running this?

@realcaseyrollins @mewmew Freespeech.host runs it for 2 more days (then I shut down the vps) and blob.cat does I presume.

@shebang @realcaseyrollins @mewmew blobcat runs Pleroma, I think there's another instance he maintains it for? Don't remember the name, I never see them anymore.
