@11112011 Jeremiah is right on asserting their system is broken, as seen by the 2016 election campaigns and the final unexpected results.
And the fact that more than half the electors don't even bother to come on a presidential election vote.
But the current republican party is shameful in their opportunism, in not looking for someone competent for administering the country.
Just sticking to the TV host who can win votes, and try to sneak the things they want in some legislation.
Real shame. Big change is needed in the country, and it won't be pretty, as there's so much division and polarization.

Wow. I think you do believe in that, and I mean no offence (and you know it) but I vastly differ in opinion.
As do many people, inside and out of the country.
I travelled in the Interstate at one time, and observed the signs "Eisenhower Interstate System".
That was a president to look up to, a concrete achievement, a legacy.
The current man, it is an international embarrassment to a once proud country.
