@realcaseyrollins @rgx This makes sense to me. Although I'm not totally sure how they broke it I'm the first place.
It seemed odd that they forked mastodon then removed federation. Like what's the point of that. It's not like mastodon is even good code.

@shebang @rgx@muensterland.social Yeah they broke it when they updated it with code they didn't test before deployment...it broke a whole bunch of things, not just federation (most notably photo uploads), and while they could fix other things, they were like "let's just dump the #Fediverse, it's too hard and none of our users use it anyways"
