Just look at what marx wrote about capitalists and liberals like Adam smith vs. Actual anti-capitalists and you get a very clear view of how he actually thought in terms of revealed preference

Free market capitalism is a liberal ideology, and this makes it exceptionally susceptible to subversion. What I'm doing is reasoning out a system that will be more likely to acheive its goals and withstand attempts to destroy it. What you are doing is unexamined dogma.
