How the fuck do you even have a Doom movie without Doomguy? That's like a Tomb Raider without Laura Croft or a Star Wars without Jedi.

Yeah, good point. It'd work if there are other notable characters. With Doom it's only Doomguy and his unquenchable rage.
@sjw the issue goes beyond doomguy not being a guy, they didnt even try to cast a more taller/muscley woman

Yeah its not like the star of this film is a genderbent doomguy, its not doomguy at all.
It's lime a metroid movie with no Samus, or a Halo movie without MC, or a Super Mario Bros movie without Mario, or a God of War movie without Kratos, or a Mortal Kombat movie without - at the very least Scorpion.
Why even make it? Who is this movie for?

@sjw Some would say Solo: a star wars story is proof it can work. But thats total bullshit since thats a story about a popular character and how he got to where he is now, as apossed to a story that has only ever been about a badass killing demons non fucking stop and never talking with words. just violence.
